#2. STEP INTO THE VOID
The spot photo set up at the top of the Ranfoilly chairlift has widened! As a reminder, everyone can take a selfie in front of a splendid mountains landscape, leaving the slopes with a souvenir.
All the explanations here!
#3. FAT BIKE
These innovative fat-tyred mountain bikes are designed to tackle slippery, unstable ground, like snow. This winter in Les Gets, riders can learn the basics of this new sport, each Wednesday during free animations on the snow front.
This sport, already enjoyed by mountain bikers is an activity suitable for anyone. The tyres firmly grip the snow and the bike is easy to handle offering an exciting new experience
It is also possible to hire fat bikes in Intersport.
#4. NEW BLUE SLOPE ON THE RESORT
This winter a new slope sees the light of day on the Chavannes side: the Cyclamen. This blue slope has been extended to allow the skiers to go back to the village by another slope than Gentiane (a blue slope also).
To discover it, you just have to take the Nauchet Expresse chairlift or Chavannes Express chairlift. Once at the top, you just have to let yourself slide on this wide slope in the middle of the snow-covered pine trees, until the bottom of Chavannes! This slope is perfect for beginners.
The end of the Cyclamen slope leads to the Bleuet slope, that is in the forest too.
Are you ready? We meet on the slopes!
#5. THE “DURS A CUIRE”
This brand new « no traditional restaurant » is ideally located in the center of the village.
Inside, a decoration that reminds New-York and a contemporary and welcoming design.
The menu changes regularly and offers a varied and well-made cooking. It was made like a newspaper, that reminds the American prohibition.
The “Durs à cuire” offers 2 specialties to its clients: the Suisse fondue and the tartiflette.
Open every night from 6pm.
