In accordance with national provisions, the entire resort (excluding services useful to the population) as well as the ski area of Les Gets are forced to close until the end of the season. We ask our visitors to make arrangements to return to their homes in the best possible conditions and as soon as possible.
We will keep you informed of the latest information in our possession:
The offices of Les Gets Tourisme are closed for physical reception as of 16 March 2020. We are available by phone on 04 50 74 74 74 from Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm and by email at email@example.com
The events and entertainment, administrative and communication services will operate in teleworking and can also be reached by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org which will forward the information to the relevant department.
We regret to announce the immediate closure of the Portes du Soleil ski area and its lifts, in its entirety and until the end of the season.
For any questions concerning the ski passes purchased through Sagets, you can contact the services at email@example.com
For rentals made via Les Gets Réservation, you can contact the services at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For reservations made with agencies or owners, please contact them directly.
Shops & Restaurants
In accordance with the official communiqué of the Prefecture of Haute-Savoie, all establishments that are not essential to the life of the country welcoming the public are closed. The establishments authorised to remain open in Les Gets are food shops, pharmacies, banks, petrol stations and tobacconists.
PIZZALINO : from 5pm to 9.30pm
LA FERME DE CAROLINE also remains open for the sale of its products (goat cheese, cow cheese, yoghurts) every day (except Sundays) from 4pm to 7pm.
The Sherpa and the Carrefour Montagne have adjusted their opening hours:
SHERPA : every day from 8am to 12.30pm
CARREFOUR MONTAGNE: every day from 8.30am to 1pm and from 4pm to 7.30pm
The night shuttle will no longer operate as of today 16 March 2020. The free shuttle and small train services will be closed from Tuesday 17 March 2020.

Leisure and sports
The Ski Schools ensure a permanence for the customers by email for any request concerning them.
The public reception is closed, but a minimum service is provided by telephone.
A duty office is set up at the usual times: Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 6pm.
A letter box is available for documents in the porch of the Maison de Gets. However, if possible, we invite you to postpone your deposit, or to send it by post to the following address: Les Gets Town Hall, 61 route du front de neige, 74260 LES GETS

School and Extracurricular
The schools, nurseries, the school canteen and the after-school care service of the municipality are closed until further notice. Special care for the children of nursing staff is provided in the after-school care centre.
The library is closed until at least 15 April 2020.
The offices of the municipal police remain open during normal business hours.
The market remains open on Thursday mornings for food products only.
The communal village hall is closed until further notice.
Water and Sanitation Department
Water meter readings in private households are suspended until further notice.

Following the closure of the ski area as well as the establishments receiving the public that are not essential to the life of the country, the resort of Les Gets remains supportive and accompanies its customers in this new situation as well as possible. All the government measures put in place are thus respected, in order to protect our fellow citizens.We would like to share with you the latest information in our possession:

- Les Gets Tourisme has a telephone permanence at 04 50 74 74 74 from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm and by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, the offices being closed for physical reception from today 16 March 2020. The events and animations service, the administrative and communication services will operate in telework and can also be reached by mail at email@example.com.
- The shuttles are still running, as well as the small trains until further notice, but the night shuttle service will stop as of tonight (follow the information in real time on this page).

After the Prime Minister's announcements this evening, the ski area of Les Gets will not reopen its doors this Sunday morning, March 15. The closure is definitive for the rest of the season.
In application of the latest decisions of the french government, Saturday 14 March 2020, in order to limit the spread of the COVID-19, we regret to inform you the immediate closing of the whole Portes du Soleil ski area and all of its lifts, until the end of the season.
We hope to see you back in Les Portes du Soleil very soon.
The ski lifts necessary for the rapatriation of staff and customers will operate exceptionally on Sunday 15 March.
