JUMPIN’ TO THE WEST SIDE
SWING BLUES SOUL ELECTRIC
Guitar and vocals / Guitar and vocals / Bass / Drummer- QUARTET
The different but complementary influences of the two guitarists are evident in both the name and music of Jumpin’ to the West Side. Alexis, who loves west coast blues and swing and jazz, draws inspiration from T Bone Walker, Alex Schultx, Rod Piazza and Junior Watson, whereas Thibault, strongly influenced by musicians such as Lurrie Bell, Jimmy Johnson, Otis Rush, Albert King, Buddy Guy or Syl Johnson brings the west side sounds of Chicago and the soul and blues of Memphis into the equation. “Jump to the West Side’s” style was born from the convergence of different technical and musical influences enhanced by rhythms, with their roots in Mississippi blues, (from Lonj) and soul and Chicago blues from Bastian. With numerous concerts and festivals to their name, the members of Jumpin’ to the West Side were awarded the ‘Young Talent’ award at the Cognac Blues Passion Festival in 2010 and building on that success they produced their first album “No Kidding”.

Le Sirop D’la rue, brings to mind great singers who were above all great musical interpreters making music come alive for their audiences. Sirop D’la rue has an interesting and original repertoire. Come and see it for yourself!
LES DESACCORDÉS
GIPSY JAZZ / SWING
Vocals / Guitar / Guitar – QUINTET
The style of this band, established by two guitarists Sammy Dib, a talented soloist, and Alex Saintives, a stoical rhythm musician, is pure instrumental expression. In time, they introduced a rhythm section: Benjamin “Benji” Riggi (percussion and drums) and Nico Penz (doublebass). The duo became an explosive quartet!
At the end of 2009, their lineup was completed with the addition of Cyril Zardé, a talented violinist whose presence cements the crazy compositions of the group : The Désaccordés were born !
